Overview
About Me
My values are rooted in community, social justice, and simple living. And I’m grateful to work for an Americorps service program that shares those same ideals!
I love to be outdoors when I can whether it's biking, hiking, canoeing, or wandering. When I travel, I'm always looking for the best local food, places with a unique story, and new experiences. A huge thrill-seeker too.
I grew up in Ohio, went to college in Missouri, then spent three years with service programs in Mississippi, Idaho, and Alaska. I currently work remotely and enjoy traveling and Couchsurfing as a way to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people with similar spirit and interests and make travelling more accessible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent two weeks canoeing in the Canadian wilderness building trail for the Quetico provincial parks, camping, and trekking. No cell service, one set of wet and one set of dry clothes. All food on our backs and cooked over a fire. Magical.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a journalism degree because I love learning new things every single day. Tell me about your passions, if you'd like, and I'd be so happy to listen.
I, of course, pledge to be a grateful guest and serve you and your home in whatever you need during my stay.
