ABOUT ME

I've been very lucky to get to explore life and its many facets during my 52 years on this planet. I've traveled extensively in the US and Europe and I speak Spanish fluently and German passably. I raised two boys, but lost one in a motorcycle accident 5 years ago. I re-located to San Antonio in 2006 and have been fortunate to get involved here in politics, civic activism and volunteering.

I volunteer with my neighborhood association and in my State Rep's office.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a fair amount of couchsurfing in the 80's when I was traveling throughout Europe and the US and before the internet, but not recently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent four months traveling the US and Canada in 1983 in a VW bus with a smiley face painted on the front. We traveled 16,000 miles and saw amazing beauty and met incredible people.
