We are a small but VERY happy family. We like to enjoy the simple things in life but also love to get out of our comfort zone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have couch surfed in a number of countries over the years and also just spent a period hosting in our home in Far North Queensland. We love many aspects of coushsurfing and are looking forward to staying with hosts in Europe.

兴趣

We love to be outdoors, in nature - exploring camping, walking, swimming.

Cosima love birds, love to watch them and draw them and sometimes look after them (wildlife rehabilitation). She is looking forward to studying postgraduate ornithology next year. She also loves to read, draw, print, and cook.

Jimmi loves a beer and a barbeque and has many traits typical of an Aussie bloke. He is a skilled carpenter and handyman and loves to see live music.

Bee (our daughter) loves to sing songs, look at picture books and is a nudist at heart. She is also a lover of nature and animals liker her parents. Pretty crazy about balls and balloons too.

We a have recently decided to make a fairly dramatic lifestyle change and have sold our house, got rid of most of our possessions so we can live in a caravan and ultimately travel more (our greatest shared passion).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We trekked some of the Nepalese Himalayas in some imitation crocs in record cold temps. Jimmi got nude at the summit for a photo and then his phone/camera was stolen in India and we were very stuck.

Far north queensland is such an incredible part of the country, this is where we chose to live and bring up our baby after travelling or working/living in every state of Australia. We can share lots of knowledge about this place, especially wildlife. Also SO open to learning about others homes, cultures, passions and experiences.

When staying with cs hosts we offer our appreciation and wonderment, experiences and friendship, and of course a cooked meal if desired. We are very respectful and mindful couchsurfers, and are happy to help around the home.
