ABOUT ME

I live partly in Sweden, and partly in Portugal (on the Island of Pico), "Why and How?" is a story that includes 17 years of travelling, Ocean saling and University studies (Mainly Chemistry and Philosophy and lately Medicin). My job is to write philosophy, my problem is to make someone pay me to do it. So far I have been just succesfull enough...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I was 17 years old and went hitch-hiking for half a year in Europe, I have had many people surfing my couch. And even more couches have been surfed by me. This gives me a 'quarter of a century of couch surfing'. With only ONE bad incident.(Nothing serious, just embarrassing, but I can still feel that heat in my face...)

兴趣

Scuba diving, Ocean sailing (and since two weeks Kite Surfing) and Horticulture. And I certainly don't mind a good Carnival (or anything else that can be a good substitute for a good Carnival).

Movies: Saw 'The Green Mile' last week. Really good.
Music: I got stucked in the 70's. Alice Cooper (71-75), Bowie until -77. Deep Purple - Made in Japan (1973 is The best Live-album ever.
Books: Ray Bradburys Dandelion wine is a beautiful story, and Adams 'Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy' is wonderful.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was sailing singel-handed from Marocco to Azores in my small boat (see pic.) and I was really sad (Love hurts...) I was seriously comforted by a Humpback whale.
I'm not kiddin'. I'll tell you all about it on a couch nearby!
