Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to experience other cultures on a personal level through the people. I love talking, laughing and learning. I have never couchsurfed before, so I can only learn from my experiences.

Música, películas y libros

I love non-fiction books about people/life/love. I am currently focused on titles by Alain de Botton. I finished Essays in Love and loved his writing style and observations. I am always taking book requests, so If you have read a book that's changed your life or altered your view on a particular topic, please let me know.

In terms of music, I just don't know what to say here. My playlist is a plethora of tracks from all over the world in all types of genres. Right now, I'm loving the post-rock/ethereal stuff coming out of Iceland. I also love the classics like Yusuf Islam and Simon & Garfunkel. I love listening to music that people associate with a particular stage in their life, or music that makes their heart sing for one reason or the other. I experience music on an emotional level for the most part, but I also love music I can mindlessly dance to.

- Visited an orang-utan rehabilitation centre in Borneo

I would also love the opportunity to cycle with you. I'm learning bike maintenance at the moment and can teach you how to change a tyre! (I'm trying to learn to change a punctured tyre in under 5 minutes......haven't quite got it yet)
