CURRENT MISSION

My mission with couch surfing, as it is with life, is to experience all I can, build great friendships, and be happy in all if it! I want to see as much as I can while I'm still young, wild, and free. In return, I would be happy to open my home up to you!

ABOUT ME

I love food. Eating. Cooking. Watching. Teaching. Tasting. Whatever it is, I love food. I also love football! American football...while I love all sports, American football is hands-down my favorite. I currently live in Okinawa. It's a small, sub-tropical Japanese island south of mainland Japan. I am very much looking forward to being here for the next three years! Scuba, surfing-not just couches, new foods, mt. Fuji, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, and maybe some partying if we ever get released from this off-base drinking restriction. I'm not a crazy, over-the-top religious nutcase, but I am a Christians and I do love Jesus. My lifestyle doesn't always show it though...oh well. :P I love music. I want to learn to play the banjo and the mandolin. That would be AWESOME! I love volunteering and helping people however I can. I enjoy, not love but enjoy, my job. I'm still not sure what I want to be when I grow up. Who cares :) well....that's all I'll put for now. Feel free to hit me up if you are ever curious about Okinawa!

PHILOSOPHY

Love. Just love. Love people, regardless if they are or like dudes or chicks, if they are black or white or any shade in between, if they worship God, Buddha, or nobody. Love the children of this world. They're the most innocent and deserve the most. Share your knowledge, experiences, wisdom, culture, values, and philosophies with people. Give advice when necessary, always be receptive to advice. Never hold grudges. Always forgive. Communicate clearly and never assume. Don't take things personally. And always put forth your very best effort in whatever you are doing. Be positive and wear that beautiful smile :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the honor of baptizing one of my best friends. This was back in my days when I was closer to God. I just loved her like Jesus loves me. Eventually she got curious and came to church with me. Then later on she asked me if I wanted to baptize her...she had accepted this Love and wanted to profess it.

I also went sky diving in Guam. That was truly bad ass!!
