Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have traveled and surfed couches, as well as hosted a couple times. But, mainly I participate by going to CS meetup groups in Barcelona!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best experience was traveling through southern Spain (summer 2013). I couchsurfed the whole time and it was incredible! Since then I haven't surfed or hosted (no space in our flat!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Funk, classic rock, 90s rock, acoustic folk, blues rock, hip hop, latin, jazz, jam bands, electronic pop, the list goes oooon...

Books: I love Hemingway, as well and so many others... I won't go into it...let's just say I enjoy reading but try not to discriminate

Movies: Going just by what movies I have seen more than any others: Snatch and The Princess Bride

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fishing for octopus with a snorkel mask and harpoon gun off the Greek island of Skyros.
Just lying in the tropical sun of a Costa Rican beach that is beautiful beyond words.
Hiking through remote, Martian-esque trails in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah
Climbing to the peak on Montserrat (Spain) and being on the highest point for as far as the eye can see
