COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had almost only pleasant experiences with my hosts ,yet one thing I like my potential hosts to be is fluent in English ,fluent in the sense of being able to have a conversation without needing to search for every second word .This one common language is a prerequisite to this kind of encounter. Most of my hosts were from English speaking countries or they were fluent in it ,with some exceptions,where they were very interesting persons ,was it not for the lack of communication tool , it was to be a much better experience. Therefore I decided this to be one of the priorities ,you have to be fluent in at least one of the 2 following languages: German or English.
