About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm here to meet new friends, have a place to crash and chat sometimes if I need it, hang out and learn about people as I work on my art and travel. I'm going to be doing film work, music and or photography at all my destinations.

ABOUT ME

I'm a musician, filmmaker, writer and sometimes English teacher. I also do photography.

I'd like to meet YOU and make new friends, experiences, and shape our world and lives with a bit of positive vibes in good company.

PHILOSOPHY

When acting, don't pretend to smoke the cigarette, just smoke it!

The world is my country, and my religion is to do good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cook! I love to cook, and can cook most dishes.

I teach English, and if you need help, we can definitely have conversations.

If you want to get into filmmaking, or your already an actor/actress or producer (or any crew member for that matter), I can definitely get you involved in some of the projects I do here, and get you IMDB credit.

Wanna be a US citizen? I know some ins and outs about living there, moving, good cities, states etc.

I'm a solid friend.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Found a place in Tblisi. Nice family.
Have my own flat, and currently manage a guest house/hostel in Tbilisi for now, and would love to meet new folks, hang out, chat, teach and help improve English etc.

The place I am at now, is NOT my flat.
I manage a guest house/hostel, so if you want to come by for some coffee, tea, drinks, a meal(s) and chat, movies and chat, let me know.
Possible to host; depends.

Cheers friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best?? Hmmm....My surname is Rugely, and it's an old English name, which happens to be the name of a town in England, and I visited it! :) So fun, so cool...walked around, talked to people...so strange and cool to see my family name all over such a typically classic, sleepy English town.

I was the first of my family to do it.
My father was a traveling musician in the 60's, 70's and 80's (my mom was a teacher) and they were in many countries and they both know at least 7 languages, but they never went here, so it was extra special, and our English and Irish roots (among others), goes waaaaaay back a few hundred years!

Definitely an experience I won't forget.

Ukraine....awesome people, and Kyiv as I found it, was a clean and welcoming city to me generally.
Met many new and lasting friends there.
Doing my feature film in Norway (that I wrote and directed) was a great experience! I was there for almost a year, and loved the people.

Hanoi was an amazing experience, and one I'll never forget.
I miss the vibe there. I loved my experiences there.

Teach, Learn, Share

English, English, English!
Film, cinema, music, culture.

I love to watch movies, make short films for fun, and of course; make films seriously, since it's my career.
I'd like to learn other languages, like Russian, German, Chinese and I would like to brush up on my French.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

Georgia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
