Hi! I'm a French Canadian (Québec) who's traveling for a couple of few months in Western Australia before going back to Queensland to work. I've been in Aus for almost 4 years now including during covid, I've mostly worked but also explore the East Coast a lot and Victoria. After finishing my master in Management of International Development and Humanitarian Aid in 2017, I worked in an NGO, then did a worked and traveled in Oceania.

I'm a cheerful girl who enjoys her life. I try to be as positive as I can and «to laugh» is my favorite verb. I like to meet new people and to try new activities. I look forward to continue discovering the world. I'll would really love to open a youth hostel/community organization in the future, but for now I'll see what life has to offer to me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's pretty simple, I travel around the world. I like to meet locals and discover new cities in a more authentic way and only doing touristic stuff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried couch surfing in California in 2013 and I really enjoyed my experience. I also had a blast in Lisbon while staying with a super sympathetic host! I also did it in Hamburg, Sydney and Melbourne 4 years ago.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I like action movies, suspenses and comedies. As for books, I also prefer suspenses and some fantastic series especially Harry Potter. I'm quite open when it comes to music. I really like folk (Of Monsters and Men for example), but I also like different styles and artists like Coldplay, Billy Talent, Yanni, Muse and many others.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would really like to teach French (from Quebec). Apart from this, I play tennis and it would be fun to play with people around the world. Finally, I would like to learn some new languages during my trips.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My knowledge of Québec and of the other places where I've traveled. I mostly know Perú since I lived there twice, and I would love to share with you my love of this wonderful country. I've also traveled quite a lot in Australia and know Queensland very well. Finally, I like to discuss about pretty much everything there is to talk about because it's this way that we get to know people and culture better.
