ABOUT ME

We own a consulting firm that works on social issues in Africa. There are many people already coming and going from our house every few months depending on the projects we are working on. So much so it feels like we have been part of the couch surfing community for years now. There are two people living at the house at all times. We are all from the states but travel extensively all over the world. A typical weekend is comprised of bbq, the beach, the white stripes and dominos.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hopefully we are opening up an opportunity for people to travel to a 3rd world country and experience the life here while enjoying first world amenities. We live in an oasis with AC, the Internet and a pool. There is a lot to see and learn here culturally, socially and spiritually. Surfers could also get involved in a cause if they really wanted to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was broke and my girlfriend threw me out of her apartment I surfed around NYC for about 3 months before I landed on my feet. Its easy in New York though. There is always somewhere to sleep, and if all else fails just stay up all night and nap at a cafe after brunch.

We can teach African culture and language. Come live and learn from the people of this region. Learn how Africa is being exploited in many ways from both countries in the East and West. Learn how the politics of the US through the World Bank and IFC controls this continent.
