"Hybrid, sociable, amiable, cosmo, bookworm and traveller"... These are some adjectives applicable to a hybrid fragmented self like me... Feel free to ask anything else you might like to know!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to share what I've learnt about the countries in which I've been either living or travelling so far... My main objective is to meet new people from different parts of the world and exchange our cultures, beliefs, experiences, stories, poems and myths with each other...
I'm very much into arts, literature and cultural issues... Reading books, visiting museums, galleries and exhibitions, dramatics and so forth are among my interests... I'd also enjoy sightseeing, hanging and dining out and clubbing...
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really have a specific taste in music and movies... I usually listen to classics, film scores, folk music, R&B, hip-hop, pop and so on and so forth...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I should leave this part empty for now... :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have the experience of teaching Persian and English language, literature, mythology and cultural studies both in academic and non-academic levels... Since the beginning of my Postgrad studies, I've been extensively working on Postcolonial and Diaspora theories as well as the Contemporary English literature of the Indian subcontinent... I have also read a handful books about Persian literature, culture and history etc etc... Seems like I'm blowing my own trumpet a lot in this section... :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share many things with my hosts: my spirit, my culture, the languages I know, stories, poems, myths, history... and of course food (They say I'm a good chef if I ever feel like cooking anything... Lol)
Countries I’ve Visited
