To explore, live in a tree and learn new hoop tricks
I really enjoy the little things in life. Small moments, good music, a cool drop of rain on a hot day, those sorts of things. I love music festivals and concerts and spend most of my extra money going to them. I usually wear black, sing randomly and dance in odd places. I love meeting new people and learning about them. I say sorry alot, but really I'm unapologetically myself all the time. I should never have joined instagram.
I wrote this very simple manifesto in class last year and I've been living it ever since. "Give love to everyone every day, and be a badass bitch in every way."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In life? I do alot I think. As a member of my student union I spend time working with students to help them. I work on policy that will benefit the people. I cook good food and share it with my friends. I smile at strangers, hold doors for everyone, and try to make my world as positive as possible.
I haven't had any people from the site stay with me yet, nor have I stayed with anyone. However, I have had several people on my living room floor that I've met at festivals who were travelling through, and it's been fantastic! I also used to travel with a band when I was a teen and crashed at a ton of people's houses along the tour way. I love the feeling of being invited into someone's home, because it feels like going to a relatives house or something. Getting to know people in their own space is truly a special experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything by Wes Anderson, but especially The Grand Budapest Hotel. As for music I'm really all over the place, but my heart belongs to doom metal, i.e. Sleep, Earth, Kyuss, Electric Wizard, etc. Books - anything, literally. I still read teen fiction in between classics and Michael Crichton.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think my most recent amazing thing I did was speak at a rally for our local teachers union, who is on strike right now. Looking out a sea of faces, parents, my former teachers, and current students alike... and knowing that my words of solidarity were heard and taken to heart... that was truly inspiring.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to sing, and jam. I may not be the best singer, but I can help add some depth to the music. I have lots of knowledge about vegan and gluten free cooking, and always try to make a meal with friends when they visit so I can show them something new.
