CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy and explore life!!
ABOUT ME
I'm currently finishing off the third year of a degree in Russian and Spanish at University College, London. This was my year abroad, so I spent the first 4 months living in Moscow, Russia, before coming to live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which is where I am now. I'm also a double-bassist, but seeing as it's not really practical to travel with a bass on my back, I haven't been able to do as much of that this year, which makes me very very sad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I'm renting a room in a flat shared with other students from all round the world, so I'm not really in a position to host. However, when I get back to London I'm really hoping to start!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, none. But please trust me, I promise I'm a nice person!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: I just watched "Lilja 4-ever". It's brilliant and so sad, it made me cry.
Also Spanish porn. As everybody knows. Especially Y Tu Mamá También and anything by Pedro Almodóvar.
Otherwise, Patrice Leconte, Guillermo del Toro, Hitchcock and Tim Burton are good, and so are Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, Requiem for a Dream, Ringu, Rosemary's Baby, The Crying Game and The Snowman.
Books: I want to marry Nikolai Gogol and have his babies. Which may be a bit tricky, seeing how he's been dead for 150 years and was gay anyway.
Also, a random selection of other favourites: Donna Tartt - The Secret History, Tolstoy - Anna Karenina, Ian McEwan - Atonement, Nabokov - Lolita, Daphne du Maurier - Rebecca, Eric Carle - The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Henri Charrière - Papillon, Ludmilla Petrushevskaya - Immortal Love and pretty much anything by Gabriel García Márquez. Oh, and my bible, the Oxford Colour Russian Dictionary.
I won't start on music, it would take too long. I'm pretty open-minded though, and love discovering new stuff!!
