I'm Courteney - born and bred in South Africa, but I have a Dutch mom. I've come to Europe to explore and get to know my roots.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a South African that's moved to Padua, Italy to aupair for 7 months. As of August, I intend to move to the Netherlands to further my passion in Interior Design.
So during my time off I'd love to travel and explore parts of Europe before I start to study again.
I've also come to Italy not knowing anyone besides my aupair family, so I would love to use this opportunity to make new friends, learn new cultures and experience what it's like to be a 'local'.

As for movies - I LOVE animations (secretly I'm a kid at heart), but comedy, true-stories etc.
