I am an American living in Mainz. My professionals interests lie in working with underserved populations, specifically in the realm of libraries and/or corrections. My personal interests run the gamut.

I absolutely love languages and I really enjoy the type of traveling that does not consist of cramming in as much as possible, but instead involves exploring one place thoroughly. I've studied Spanish since I was 12, but have never had the chance to immerse myself in it. Right now, I've put Spanish on hold to focus on mastering German. I completed the Camino de Santiago in 2011. I hope complete at least part of a pilgrimage to Canterbury next year.
