I can teach English, share perspectives on American culture, and give you an insider’s view of life in Houston, Texas...my home for the past 20 years. I’ve moved around a lot as a kid, living in California and Alaska, which gave me a love for diversity, adventure, and meeting new people. I’m passionate about animals (I have three cats back home) and love swapping travel stories. I’d be excited to learn new languages, local traditions, and regional cooking styles, and I’m always happy to share travel tips and laughs.. My motto is simple: life is short... take the trip! For me, the best part of Couchsurfing is exchanging skills, perspectives, and experiences that turn strangers into lifelong friends.
