I am a teacher outside of Austin, Texas. I have always loved to travel, but I caught the travel bug in college when I taught abroad in Italy. I love to experience different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best traveling experiences I have had is staying with locals and truly experiencing the culture of the location. I hope to meet others so we can share in each other's culture and experiences.

Interests

On the weekends, you can bet that my husband and I are hiking with our two dogs. We love to visit wineries and listen to live music.

I love Texas Country music, mostly, but can appreciate any good tunes. I love to read! I love any well-written book- my favorite likely being Johnny Cash's autobiography.
