Hi! My name is Courtney. I just recently decided to put my degree in Social Work on hold for awhile to see as much of the world as possible. I am loving the adventure so far although I haven't traveled out of Canada or the United States. I am excited to learn about different cultures and gain new perspective. My friend told me about this app knowing that I jump around a lot. I think it's a great opportunity to meet new people, feel more connected to the city I am staying in and learn more about culture and diversity.

I love comedies. As much as I would love to love horror films, I am too much of a baby.
I enjoy reading poetry such as Charles Bukowski❤️. Also a huge fan of Ellen Hopkins.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Right now I would have to say EDC was the most amazing thing I've done. People can say what they want about the scene (I didn't like it before either) but if it wasn't for EDC I would have never met so many awesome people from all over the world and probably wouldn't have pursued travelling. It most certainly changed my life in the most positive way and I couldn't be more thankful. For those who don't know what EDC is it stands for Electric Daisy Carnival. It's an electronic dance music festival which travels to certain parts of the world but I attended it in Las Vegas. If you ever get the chance you should definitely check it out.

Teach, Learn, Share

Unsure of what I can teach at the moment.. I do have some pretty rad dance moves! I am eager to learn from others their culture and unique life experiences. I know I will learn more than I ever thought possible as I continue this journey. I am excited to share some of the best days of my life with new people :)
