Hello!

I am a free spirit in a straight-laced world, looking to break out of that box and into my freedom. Traveling is one part of that for me, so that is why I am here! I love adventure -- hiking, playing volleyball, paddle boarding, boating, surfing, tumbling, yoga -- really, anything that gets me into nature is my favorite. I look forward to meeting the amazing people who open their homes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't like stuffy hotels and costly resorts... I like having experiences similar to what I would have if I was visiting a friend. That's why I'm here. I also hope to travel by myself this fall, so am looking for opportunities to meet new friends!

Music: I like so many kinds of music. For now I'll stick to my current faves: Anderson Paak, Vance Joy, Soul/ Blues (Aretha, Ella, etc), Lumineers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Spanish, The Internet, Alabama Shakes, J Cole, John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix... I could do this all day.

Movies: Just saw Moana and I am obsessed with it, any Meryl Streep movie... I like a lot of movies so it's hard for me to name a few.

Books I've enjoyed recently: Nature and the Human Soul, Crazy Brave, Born a Crime, The Chronology of Water, Better of Without Him

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved from NYC to the rural foothills of CA to help establish a medical cannabis farm and advocate on behalf of farmers in the area.

I am curious and interested in everything, and my brain is like a sponge, which means I have an interest in almost any topic (video games are an exception). I love conversations and adventure, so I am down for pretty much anything a host might suggest. I am also very thoughtful, considerate, and clean!
