The couch surfers I've met have really opened my eyes to the adventure and mystery waiting to be explored. The chance share an experience with new people, and to forge lasting memories is something I really look forward to.

Caravaggio inspires me. His use of darks and lights gives drama to his work.

I'm a sucker for good espresso. Black Dog Coffeehouse makes a pretty good one.

I always enjoy experimenting with new recipes. Although not vegetarian, I've become somewhat of an expert in adapting traditional dishes to herbivore friendly ones.

I'm a third generation collector. Books, rocks, scars. Even a few cars have found their way to my family's farm. President Truman's car, and our Delorean are a couple stand-outs.

My taste in music is pretty eclectic. Currently my favorites are HoneyHoney, Chromeo, Great Caesar, Lupe Fiasco, and Jarryd James. And just between the two of us I like old music and the occasional top 40.

A few of my favorite movies are The Grand Budapest hotel, Labyrinth, and Reservoir Dogs.

I'm currently reading The Name of the Wind and I absolutely love it.
