Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find joy in every day
ABOUT ME
I'm a first year resident in internal medicine. I just moved to Columbus. I love to travel and have adventures, although I wouldn't call myself an adrenaline junkie. ;) I love to dance, try new foods, watch music, meet new people, hang out with the cool people I already know, make fancy dinners, go for walks in my neighborhood, I can pretty much amuse myself doing anything (aside from watching football...I just can't get into it for some reason).
I also like getting to know people and hearing their stories.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe every person has at least some redeeming quality, if you take the time to find it. I try to stay open-minded.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new. I know people who have couch surfed and had great experiences and I'd like to try it out. My new place isn't ready for hosting yet (my guest room is still more of a store-extra-boxes room), but I plan to start hosting as soon as I get it set up. I went to a couple of the Nashville couch surfing meetings years ago and met some really cool people there. If anyone knows of a similar group in Columbus, let me know!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None, yet, I'm afraid.
Interests
Traveling, cooking, going for walks, climbing, hiking, biking (with a helmet), painting, art hops, museums, botanical gardens (I always go in every city that I can), keeping up my French, working on my Spanish, reading interesting books, learning more medicine, meeting cool people, exploring my city (and other cities too), and I would like to go on some out organized outdoors trips (like the ones offered by Alaskan Mountain Guides) if anyone is ever interested in getting a group together, let me know...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been here: http://www.nationalgeographic.com/adventure/0203/q_n_a.html I only got to go with the guys who took me because I was working at the climbing gym, and they decided since I could climb, I could probably handle caving pretty well, too.
