Overview
About Me
I'm just your token ginger, looking to make new friends, travel, and have the time of my life doing it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing seems like a cool community, and I'd love the opportunity to experience places through a local's knowledge and perspective. I feel like there's so much more to gain from places this way; I'm not really into typical tourist-y experiences. That's too impersonal for me. I want to make amazing friends and amazing memories!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love pretty much everything that's not screamo or emo!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once wrestled a polar bear in Anchorage who was about to attack an elementary school. He weighed 1,300 pounds, and had eyes that shot laser beams, and wings. I managed to best him, and we became very good friends afterwards. We still text once a week.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a bit of a jack of all trades... I've worked in agriculture, business, education, medicine, fire fighting, bartending... you name it. If you'd like to learn how to horse back ride, go fishing, knit a toque, go hunting, go dogsledding, change the oil in your car, do CPR... just ask!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I make a mean butternut squash. I have a twisted, yet delightful sense of humor, and could share many stories of my Igloo in Canada. I'm a moderately skilled yogi, have sub-par knitting skills, and am really good at applying band-aids.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Belgium, England, Germany, Netherlands, United States
