ABOUT ME

I'm 27 years old. I'm into public radio, crochet, baking, arts and crafts, hiking, sewing, laughing, eating, reading, coloring, kayaking, and exploring. I nanny for two babies. I have a clingy cat named Basil. I drink wine that tastes like juice. I DVR Modern Family, Community, Parks and Rec, The Office and 30 Rock.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be pretty stress free. I like to live in the moment. I'd rather be old and broke with a ton of awesome stories than old and rich with an ulcer and a pacemaker.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Rocky (1 - Balboa) and any other boxing movie, and anything hilarious (I just did a Napoleon Dynamite double feature and can't stop quoting).
Music - adult alternative, folk, indie rock, whatever they're not playing on the top 40 stations
Books - Cather, Hemingway, Wharton, short stories are my favorite, and anything Oprah says I should read, she hasn't let me down yet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been crocheting for 20 years (but just recently became "good" at it) I just started sewing, and have just been taught the art of decoupage. I have a collection of old Italian family recipes. I'd love to exchange recipes and will gladly take any crafty education.
