The road called me and I knew I had to go! With virtually no travel experience I decided to throw myself on a journey solo across the North American continent in hope of amazement and adventure.

So far the road has lead me to new horizon and places I only dreamed to see but the most rewarding things so far are the new friendships I made via couchsurfing.

The life on the road can be both a blessing and a curse, you get to meet new people and expand your horizon and you really learn to live in the moment instead of always expecting the future but at the same time loneliness is always creeping and it's easy to fall prey to defeatism if things start to go wrong...

In spite of all this it's by knowing and acknowledging that there can be bad but that the good far outweigh it that you can keep going and find happiness!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went on a huge life-altering roadtrip across the North American continent to meet new people and learn about life! Traveling to me is not about simply going somewhere but to actually get to experience a whole new lifestyle trough the people you meet along the way! Now that I own a condo in Quebec maybe I can start to give back to this amazing community!

Interests

Sports: hockey, soccer, martial arts and rock climbing are few of the sports I like to watch and/or practice in no particular order.

Nature: fishing, hunting and hiking, astronomy or simply standing amazed upon the unspoiled beauty of our earth!

Good food and not so good food, I can eat a lot and a lot of everything, I will gladly finish your plate if your full.

I saw Venus, Mars and Jupiter rises in the Death Valley night sky and the Leonids meteor shower!

Hiked down the Grand Canyon and up!

What I like to share the most are stories and pictures as well as good conversation in general but I'm a practitioner of many sports and disciplines like snowboarding, eskrima, rock climbing, fishing, hunting and I would be glad to share what I know.
