I've been back in the UK since July 2016, before then I was living in New Zealand for 2 years, before then I lived in Australia for a year, before THEN I taught English in South Korea for 2 years. My travelling all started in 2010 with a 3 month trip to the US and Canada, and now I'll be back in Canada from 17 July 2017 on a two year working holiday visa.

It's cheaper than hostels! and staying with bona fide locals is wayyy better than staying in a smelly 8-bed dorm.

I'm a pretty tidy, well behaved, polite, interesting house guest.

兴趣

Music. Playing it, watching it, listening to it, loving it, hating it, talking about it. But being left-handed means I can't often get my hands on a guitar I can play while travelling. Film, Books, People.

Scuba diving with thresher sharks, Orca whales swimming in my front yard, swimming in phosphorescent water (Punga Cove, Marlborough Sounds, NZ), biking through the hills in Vietnam, hearing true silence in the Doubtful Sounds, standing infront of a classroom full of Korean students and teaching them English for two years (more terrifying than scuba diving with the sharks!), feeling the force of Naigra Falls up close, Red Sox game at Fenway Park, Glastonbury Festival, Sasquatch Festival, Grand Canyon. sorry it's more than one thing...
