Hi All!! I'm Craig Kibbe and I've a few years under my belt. I am 59 and was born and raised in a small town, Waynesville, in Western North Carolina. After graduating high school I went to college for a few years and then joined the United States Air Force where I had a 20 year career. After retiring I became a web consultant having my own company for most of that time. During this past year I have become a cyclist. I now cycle pretty much exclusively and am planning on a Trans US 60/35 touring ride from the east to west coast in 2017. I became a Type 1 diabetic in 1982 and wish to help others with diabetes to realize they can live life to the fullest. You can read more about this on my website www.cycling4us.com.

I like and enjoy people. As I am doing very long rides to prepare for my Trans US ride next year it means I often do not make it back to Asheville NC, where I live, within a day or sometimes two or three. I'm not earning big bucks anymore so hope I can save on the cost of a room and meet new and exciting people as I prepare for my journey next summer/fall.
