ABOUT ME
Craig is a really good person, or maybe he's a bit of a jerk. To tell the truth, sometimes I can't see the difference between the two.
Interests
I love simple things -- reading, writing, running and listening to music. The best moments in life are given shape and color by basic pleasures. Without them, life would be like a Vittorio de Sica film. Beyond that, I enjoy learning about new cultures. I think the best way to understand the human condition is to place yourself in an environment opposite from anything you have every known. Among a thousand other reasons, that is why I love to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I remember being asked by a monk to help paint a giant statue of a Buddha outside a temple near Hua Hin, Thailand. I hunched over, putting a couple of coats of green paint on the bottom of this 10 meter tall standing Buddha. I don't know if I'd ever felt so welcome anywhere.
Nothing beats watching the sun dive into the sea. My favorite places to watch this happen are Koh Tao and Koh Chang, Thailand.
I spent one month studying indigenous healing methods in Costa Rica. I was lucky to hike the primary forest in the jungle around Las Cruces with both native guides and two professors who might be the most intelligent people I will ever know.
