ABOUT ME

I've been living in China for almost twelve years now, two of those were spent in Heilongjiang province living in the capital city of Harbin. I've spent the rest of my time living in Shanghai, the economic powercenter of China's rise...

PHILOSOPHY

I hold freedom, individuality and voluntaryism in the highest esteem. I believe in living life passionately while believing in ourselves and adhering to positive values. I think it'€™s necessary to strive high and challenge the status-quo of societal norms and the ideas of those around us in order to bring about a better future for those who will still be here after we're all long gone. In my opinion philosophy has never been more important at any time in world history than it is now. I am not afraid to tackle some of the most commonly avoided conversations and you're likely to hear about some of my ideas if you do end up on my couch! ;)

Since consciousness is a rare gift and our time here is short I strive to appreciate every moment as if it were the last. I firmly believe that philosophy, logic, rationality and the scientific method are all necessary for discovering truth and knowledge in the Universe. Art, myth and metaphor are also great additions to my world view. My daily emotional and intellectual life is a constant processing of new ideas--it is my passion and the reason I get out of bed every morning! :)
