PHILOSOPHY

What a question.... Be happy, listen closely to your heart but always maintain a deep respect for others and nature. Moderation and balance but basically life is an adventure that we are not really completely in control of yet can become so intimately and profoundly involved with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been travelling so long and so many times it is all about those chance meetings and what you are able to share with others and learn from each other. We have hitchhiked around different places, especially Japan, and been a fortunate recipient of many people's generosity. We've also hosted others spontaneously as what goes around comes around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only one now, more in person... last year we hiked the Na Pali trail in Hawaii, a very strenuous hike along trecharous cliffs to a gorgeous valley with a waterfall dropping out of fluted mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can share knowledge from our travels and brushes with other cultures and languages. Japan is definately our expertise.
We can also share or teach cooking, papermaking, photography, ethical investment...Zoe knows a bit about art and shiatsu, Craig knows a lot about economics and socially responsible investment.
