ABOUT ME

I'm a very chill guy, I like to talk, read, write, walk and talk. I've never really had any trouble getting along with people, and love finding things out about the world. It's a wonderful place, after all.
Also, if you want to learn about birds, I'm the guy to talk to. I'm a bird maniac. They're beaufitul and fascinating!

PHILOSOPHY

I couldn't really pin myself to a specific philosophy.
I guess, to put it in the simplest way possible. Enjoy everything? Life is it's own silver lining?
Dunno, I'm just a guy who loves life!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love letting surfers stay at my place. I love showing people around, listening to their stories, and sharing my own. I will likely be using this site until the end of eternity (if such a time exists!).
I love meeting people from all over the world, and love hearing about life in other places. The world is so huge, it'll be hard for me to see it all myself, so talking to people and learning about it seems like the best bet to get the full experience before I expire. :D

I've hosted and been hosted, and every experience has been tremendous! Gotta love CSing!

兴趣

I have pretty varied interests. I can be entertained by almost anything. Easily, actually.
But, in a nutshell, I'm a nature guy. I spend a lot of time watching the wilderness, and have no problem talking for hours about the beauty of a blackbird, or the myriad reasons that Wetlands are important. :P

TO be honest, for the last year I've had my nose in books about birds. Guides, fact books, scientific manuals, the whole deal. I want to know everything about our feathered friends!

I was in Uganda, East Africa in the summer of 2010, and helped save a life. Literally. Last winter I drove through the heart of America, saw the Grand Canyon and Roswell New Mexico, just because I hadn't done it before. I've also stalked through the only desert in Manitoba... All night long.

I am a guide. My job is basically to take people out onto our trails and inspire them with the beauty of nature. As such, I'm easily excited by the beauty in everything; fascinated about how animals live, how people live, and how the world works. If you think about anything long enough, you'll be able to find a mystery you can't help but want to explore. :)
