ABOUT ME

I am a professional, with a background in Sales & Marketing, whose work requires periodic travel. My independent employment provides a great deal of flexibility - and frankly, I prefer the experience of sleeping on the couch of a 'real' person to another night in a nondescript hotel room (done that too many times!)

PHILOSOPHY

Seek to understand others, rather than being understood. Esteem others more highly than oneself. It takes more strength to display humility than to personally triumph our own endowments and accomplishments.

New to 'formal' couchsurfing, but I have been staying with friends, and inviting boards into my home for years.

Interests

I love all activities which get me outdoors, with an strong affinity for Hiking/Backpacking, Skiing, Disc Golf, Running, to name a few. I also enjoy live music, traveling, good food, meeting new people, and thought-provoking conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I'm a fan of original, provocative, and/or independent films - documentaries and features.
Music: My musical tastes are very eclectic, with my preferred roots in Folk, Americana, Bluegrass, and Indie Rock. I LOVE live music!!
Books: Non-fiction, biographies, business, current human-interest topics, etc.
