I've been focusing my legal studies on dispute reslution, specifically international dispute resolution. When people (or governments or companies) from differnt cultural and geographic backgrounds with diferent ways of problem solving have prblems, how do you mesh the different attitudes and practices to find an equitable process and outcome?? That's what I'm doing a lot of right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was planting trees in mexico, and you dig with a post hole digger 2 or three meters down in dry sand till you hit the water plane. There was something very human about finding water. Living in america, you get disconnected from your resources, but that,the feeling of finding my own water, to me was aazing
