About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Free from school! Ready to learn from exploring new places...away from the textbooks.
ABOUT ME
My favorite pastime is learning new skills, whether it's learning how to play cricket or how to milk a yak. I don't know how to do these things. Someone please teach me...
My second favorite pastime is listening to interesting people over a good beer. I can't promise I'll be interesting, but at least you'll enjoy the beer!
Lastly, I have a passion for learning about the natural world and how things work. I'm a chemistry nerd and have plans to go back to grad school. My dream job is to become a chemistry professor at a university.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've started my first international traveling experience in the Netherlands because it is the home of my ancestors. I want to bike through the country for 3 weeks and see as much of the country as I can. I will then spend the next month doing a good ol' Europe tour..
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing is going to be critical to my ultimate goal of my trip: to get to know how other people live, and have a great time meeting new people. I've already met some good friends through Couchsurfing and hope to meet mamany more. If this trip goes well, I would love to provide a couch for other travelers in the future.
Interests
Favorite Recreations: Photography, hiking, and rock-climbing
Favorite sports: Tennis, baseball, football, snowboarding, ping-pong. (I've played a little bit of everything)
Music interests: Played saxophone and flute back in the day. Also I really enjoy playing piano (although rather poorly). My musical passion resides in playing and listening to jazz. My funk and soul music really gets me groovin!
