A cyclist who owns a bike tour and rental business in a cycling town. You'll see me year round riding on my bike for transportation but also in cyclocross races and on single track. I can also be found taking flamenco classes, going to local art events, sewing, knitting, hiking, cooking or eating some good grub. Making some dandelion wine. Mainly, I'm just out and about trying to find a good time!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I've been working haaaaaard, growing a small business for the last 5 years. As it turns out, small business people don't get to travel much when they start. I'm using couchsurfing as means to go on one of my first trips in 5 years! Say whaaaaat?! Yes, sadly it's true. Don't worry, I traveled a ton before I started a business - it's just been a while since I've been able to again. I thought this would be an awesome way to not only travel, but get to know locals, make some new friends and also have someone tell me the real cool places to go, not just the touristy ones. I do that for a job so I can truly appreciate people that want to show me the cool things locals do.

Interessen

I bike non-stop! So I must eat non-stop! You will see me doing a lot of biking, a lot of eating. I take classes for dance now and again when I need to satisfy that creative body movement need. In the winter in down time, you'll find me catching up on creative projects - writing, knitting, sewing, etc. And generally planning how to take over the world.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like music of all kinds but tend towards folky stuff. I love records and have a good collection - my newest acquisition is a Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young record with Joni Mitchell art. Got it for $2.99! SCORE! That was at the local famous Electric Fetus. People were eyeing my find - I guarded it with my life!

I mainly watch documentaries and sometimes silly slapstick stuff. I'm much more of a non-fiction reader/movie watcher.

Well, I built a small business on my own. I think that's pretty badass. I also biked 86 miles one day on my single speed (an old clunker) to get to Minnesota's Largest Candy Store. A girl has to do what a girl has to do. Caandyyyy!! Those are pretty amazing...right?
