ABOUT ME

Man, I don't know if I'm qualified to answer this...I'm reaching the end of my (recently) roaring twenties and find myself seeking more and more and more outdoor-life adventure. I've been skydiving a few times, I love white-water paddling, I used to love rock climbing before all my buddies moved away, I snowboard, I will straight up spank you on a bike you name the time and place (not really, but I love all things biking, road, XC, downhill, urban assault).

I love pets; I have a 60 lb mix breed awesome pup named Blue.

I don't smoke, I do drink, I am Christian. The rest we'll figure out when we meet.

PHILOSOPHY

Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken.

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than exposure.

Just heard about this bomber notion and giving it a try (open-mindedly). I'm hoping to add to my adventures by meeting some awesome people!

Interests

Yikes, see "about me"...I also like 4x4 offroading (rock crawling), going fast (just bought a Mustang), designing cool stuff (Mechanical Engineer), and meeting awesome people. More emphasis on that last part for sure.

I'm athletic, play golf, can do sweet hand-stands, and I'm interested in eco-sustainabiluty.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yeah, about those.

Recently I found I love Florence + the Machine, the Killers, Modest Mouse, Incubus, Prymus, Green Day, Katy Perry, Adele, ....geez man, you name it. Old Crow Medicine Show.

Movies, I loved Braveheart and Indiana Jones, and though there have been a lot of movies that have entertained me since, none have quite captured me like those well-produced movies of the 90's. Inception was pretty fricken awesome though!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Man, it seems like I have a zillion stories, but that "amazing" word seems kinda steep. I'll say that the most amazing experience that comes to mind right now was towing a buddy's rock-crawler up the rest of Gold Bar Rim trail (still up the Golden Stairs and that friggen head-wall). The rest of the trail was all down hill, but the amazing part was the zen-like state I found on the trek down. I was so frustrated and anxious when it happened because we were short on day-light at the top of the trail and after we all decided it was time to head in this guy was showing off.

Amazing what a clear head can do for you. I'm talking transformation.

Dewd, I got skills.

I'm an engineer in practice and education, so yeah I got that going for me. I've been alpine climbing so I can tie a good knot. Umm, I used to be good at math? I taught my sweet dog some cool tricks too! I got wheelie skillz on a bicycle too.
