Je suis dynamique. J'ai étudié en photographie et en tourisme. J'aime découvrir de nouvelles choses en visitant des lieux et en discutant avec des personnes. Les livres et Internet c'est bien mais les vrais contacts sont tellement mieux !

I'm full of energy. I gradueted from photography and also tourisme. I enjoy to discover new places and meet new people. Books and Internet are good but people in real life are so much more interesting!!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Je me suis inscrite sur Couchsurfing en 2009 lorsque je planifiais mon voyage en Islande car je voulais rencontrer la population locale. Depuis, j'ai accueilli beaucoup de visiteurs chez moi. Surtout au cours des dernières années car je vis à proximité du Parc national de la Mauricie qui est un endroit très populaire autant des Québecois que des étrangers.
Je rencontre beaucoup de gens dans mon travail (hé oui, je travaille à l'Office du tourisme de ma ville) et j'aime tellement ma ville que même dans mes temps libres je prends plaisir à la faire découvrir à nos invités.
Ma ville je l'aime énormément!!! Je l'ai choisie parmi beaucoup de villes au monde. En effet, je suis née en Belgique et j'ai pas mal voyagé. J'ai décidé de venir vivre au Québec en 2008 (à Sept-Iles) et maintenant je suis établie à Shawinigan.

I created my account on Couchsurfing in 2009 when I planned my trip to Iceland beacause I wanted to meet local people. Since then I hosted a lot of visitors especially past few years because I live near La Mauricie National Park which it very popular with Quebecers as well foreign people. I meet a lot of outsiders at work (indeed, I work at the tourism office of Shawinigan) but I like so much my town that even in my freetime I enjoy to show my city to visitors! I'm the number One fan of my town... I choose it between so many town around the world. Shawinigan is where I decided to spent the rest of my live! That's something for sure! :-)

La photo, des voyages, le rockabilly jive, le calme et la nature. Je vis sur le bord de la rivière St-Maurice et j'adore en profiter en canot, en kayak, à la nage et même en voilier!

Photography, travels, Rockabilly Jive, quiet moment and NATURE. I live next to the St-Maurice River and I enjoy it canoeing, kayaking, swimming and even sailing on it!

Jokusarlon en Islande, le calme et la beauté de la nature à son apogée.
La rencontre d'un orignal dans un sentier pédestre à Cap-Breton.
Un voyage parmi les glaces sur le Relais Nordik (Basse-Côte-Nord, Québec, Canada) au printemps et le bruit du bateau qui se fraye un chemin.
Toute la traversée du Canada de Sept-Îles à Ucluelet dont la tournée des vignobles de l'Okanagan (BC, Canada)et les multiples parcs nationaux.

A cruise on the Relais Nordik (Lowe North Shore - Québec- Canada) in the spring when the boat make so much noise breaking the ice.
Crossing Canada from Seven Islands (Sept-Iles) to Ucluelet especially Okanagan'svineyards (BC - Canada) and all the national parks along the road.

Mon chum et moi nous recevons beaucoup de demandes et nous en acceptons souvent. Néanmoins pour nous, Couchsurfing n'est pas un moyen de dormir gratuitement mais bien un réseau de voyageurs qui souhaitent partager un moment ensemble. Merci de ne pas nous écrire si ce que vous cherchez c'est un lit. Nous, nous souhaitons partager un verre, un repas, une sortie en canot ou encore une randonnée avec nos visiteurs!

My boyfriend and I we receveive a lot of requests and we accept many of them. However, for us, Couchsurfing doesn't mean "Free lodging". For us, it's a network of travellers wo want to share a special moment together. So please, don't make a request if you are looking only for a bed. We are looking for sharing a beer (from Trou du diable), a meal, a canoe excursion or a hiking moment with you!
