ABOUT ME

In a nutshell my name's Laura, I'm 22 from Cheshire and want to do as much as possible before the year ends. I returned from uni to have a break and to explore other possibilities and to have new experiences. I love music, singing, doing artwork (especially sculpting soapstone at the moment, acrylics, spray paints, caligraphy, tattoo style, etc - I love it all). I love charity work and animals and strangely enough public speaking. Over the last few months I've checked off a lot of things I've always wanted to do but there's so much more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed before, I was going to but dates were changed and coaches slept on instead.

Interessen

Festivals, making friends, new experiences, animals, artwork, flying, helping people, courses, music, singing, caving, abseiling, sculpting, motorbikes, photography and in future I'd really like to be an underwater photographer/camerawoman.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Rules are meant to be bent, perceptions altered and life lived. Movies I like - Temple Grandin, The Peaceful Warrior, Young Frankenstein, Yes Man, tame horror movies (No The Grudge! Just don't like zombies), The Shawshank Redemption, subtitled Japanese movies. Books - history books, animal books, art books.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One moment that sticks out was flying for the first time and seeing the sun set in front of me and feeling the dying rays on my face, stretching out my hands and feeling fee. Same thing with the bungee jump and the zip wire, somehow I even managed to raise £100 in less than a week for the deadline. I'm never happier than when I'm in the air, either falling or gliding it doesn't matter! The funny thing is I went up three times in one day because the instructor and another flyer offered, very generous :). I liked the first time I rode a motorbike and didn't fall off, that was amazing too!
