Shakoor Hakeem Sanders is one of the greatest talents of today's percussionists in New York City and just an incredible person. Currently working on different projects he is always concerned to teach his knowledge to the kids of his community and to strangers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling to Amsterdam and I want to get to know the people to people relations better. I want to experience the Dutch culture. It's perfect for me to really break out of my comfort zone and instead of staying at a hotel or hostel. I want to make new friends and open myself to a new community of artist as well. I'm by myself so I can actually know some people on the grounds to guide me around the city.
