ABOUT ME

Where do i start! For years i lived the life of what people expected of me. I went to University and college and then jumped into the real world. Trying my luck at the whole career thing, I got itchy feet and wanted to fulfill some of my dreams. After many discussions from those who had wished they picked up and traveled when they where young I finally decided to bite the bullet and run. My first journey lasted 2 years as i worked and traveled through Australia and New Zealand, South East Asia and Europe. After my amazing experience it was nice to be home but my desire to explore grew. I ended up moving west in Canada and worked as a Ski Patroler at Panorama Mountain and lived in Vancouver. Discovering that i was not to old to get a working visa I left Vancouver and spent a year living in Ireland working in Youth hostels. After my time in Ireland I headed off to travel eastern Europe. During this trip i was introduced to Couch Surfing in Poland, from fellow travelers and got hooked by the amazing people that were involved.

I am currently traveling through South East Asia and should be back in Canada sometime in early April to try my luck at a few business ventures I have conjured up during my travels. I hope to be back in Vancouver sometime this summer before the Olympics and get back out to the mountains which i miss so much to hike bike and ski!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am fairly new to couch surfing and was introduced to it in Poland. I couch surfed in 3 different places in Poland and had amazing experiences. Hopefully i will get to meet some more amazing people before my trip is up and i look forward to being a host when i get settled in Vancouver. I am sure there will be lots of request as the olympics approach.

Nothing would be more exciting than to host people in the city i love and show them all the amazing places that they might not get to experience on the tourist trail

Interests

Even at my age i am still a very curious person. As a result i have many interests and hobbies:
Skiing, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Camping, Rock Climbing, Volley Ball, Tennis, Squash, Golf
I also attempt at playing the Guitar, Didgeridoo and Djembe Drum
I have been re-discovering my artistic side that i used to have back in high school and would like to learn more about photography and woodworking
I also love to cook, read and go out to see live music

Music is one of my passions that I put way to much time into. I love Indie rock, jazz, dub, reggae, folk, metal and much much more. Some bands that i am into now include:

I can teach Skiing and Squash and help out with some physical therapy if you have any aches and pains
