My job is all about helping people who need me. I guide low-income, first generation 6-12th graders into college. I’m working on a Masters of Social Work. I may continue focusing on education or move into mental health/addiction counseling. I find joy and meaning in helping those who need me most.

Because my job is emotionally taxing, my down-time is spent tending to myself. I make time for concerts, friends, travel, and creative expression. I find myself in nature, art, and books.

I listen to chill electronica mostly. I moved away from prog metal a few years ago but am still familiar with the scene. Female R&B artists, groove tunes. A range.

I read novels, usually dystopian fantasy or historical fiction. Oryx and Crake, The Bluest Eye, Handmaid’s Tale, Brave New World, Crime and Punishment. I guess a lot of classics lately!
