About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living, laughing, loving, learning Spanish!

ABOUT ME

I'm a sister, a laugher, a journalism student, a talker, a swimmer and a baker. Sometimes, I can handle serious but I like to be goofy way more. I'm a total scatter-brain and I looove animals.

Totally an extrovert and an optimist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I didn't get serious with the CouchSurf community until Sept. 2012 and am now travelling so have never been able to host people. I always loved having exchange students at my house throughout high school and can't wait to settle into a house again sometime soon so I can host.

Interests

Swimming/triathlons, trying to cook, laughing, talking, being outside (don't mind nasty weather...or bugs), hiking, boating, crossing my eyes/rolling my eyes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've only been SCUBA diving a couple times but descending to 100 feet with other divers' bubbles floating up around me was the most euphoric feeling ever. We got to crack an egg at that depth and watch it hold it's shape and watched a huge wolf eel swim by.

I spent three weeks this past summer cruising on a 29-foot sail boat in Desolation Sound in Canada. Just me and a friend; shrimping, kayaking, swimming, sailing, motoring, cooking, reading and exploring. We met so many cool sailors with so many amazing stories and I learned a lot about the boating lifestyle.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Chile, Costa Rica, France, Italy, Mexico, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Argentina, United States
