About Me

CURRENT MISSION

caress trouts' dreams;-)

ABOUT ME

all about me?? I'm never gonna tell you!;-) basically i think i'm an outgoing, easygoing person who wants to enjoy life. someone described me as a curious and smiling person, i think this description quite fits me...

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm interested in both surfing other people couch and have people surfing my couch, unfortunately I can offer only a very modest accomodation -an empty mattress in my room- but i can assure it's very confortable:-)
I choose "maybe" 'cause i'm not always in Bologna sometimes in the weekends i go back to my parents' house and there i can't host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had only one couchsufing experience in my life- in Ancona, but it was great, the guy was so hospitable and helpful!

Interests

a lot;-) I love reading and writing, watching movies, i'm also interested in theatre, journalism, languages, contemporary art (especially Chinese one), i love music but unfortunately i can't play any instrument(i'm trying to learn to play guitar but it's work in progress yet:-)) and i love travelling of course!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: my favourite directors are Kubrick (2001: a space oddisey, a clockwork orange, dr. strangelove), Almodovar (abla con ella, mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios), Burton (mars: attacks, ed wood), Wang Jiawei (In the mood for love), Zhang Yimou (rise the red lantern, to live, red sorgum), Chen Kaige (Farewell my concubine), Bertolucci, Ozpetek...I know it sounds very childish but i must confess i love watching cartoons, Alice in Wonderland is definitely my favourite one:-)
the movie that made me laugh the most is definitely "something about mary", Ben Stiller was great in that movie:-)

music: 70's rock music (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplanes, Doors, Led Zeppelin),my favourite singer is De Andrè, talking about italian music i also like Rino Gaetano, Battiato, Vinicio Capossela. Other singers/groups that i like are-just to give an idea :-): Manu Chao, Buena Vista Social Club, Intillimani, Django Reinhardt,Goran Bregovic, Afterhours, Marlene Kuntz, Santana, Ben Harper, Bob Dylan, and many others that i can't remember now... I love also folk music, pizzica, tarantella, tamurriata, rembetiko, irish folk music and i'm looking forward to know others:-))

books and authors: Margaret Mazzantini(Non ti muovere, Venuto al mondo), Stefano Benni (Il bar sotto il mare, L'ultima lacrima), Italo Calvino(all:-)), some "dated" english writers like Oscar Wilde (i think i will never get tired to read "the importance of being earnest"), George Orwell, Samuel Beckett, Shakespeare of course, and then Luis Sepulveda (incontro d'amore in un paese di guerra), Daniel Pennac, Yu Hua, Ling Shuhua, Ji Mi, i love Catullo's poetry ....I also like reading articles ("internazionale" is definitely my favourite one)
