ABOUT ME

I'm somewhat old to say that i'm kinda lost. And i didn't even leave my city, or my street, or the house i was born, and grew up in. Basically, I i'm in that part of one's life where i need to get away, far away, to understand and cherish what i've been given.

PHILOSOPHY

What goes around, comes around. I believe in the power of personal example. I believe that I can't change the world, I can change only myself, but i'm a part of the world. I believe in duty, friendship and open comunication. I resent fanatism and bigotry. I'm a Christian Orthodox, and although I'm not very religious, I'm happy with it for some reason I can't really explain. I guess I felt the love of God some day, and my heart can't forget it since.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a big apartment, and i live all alone for now. Since i found out about this community, and the values that it is promoting, i was bewitched. Now, i have the material means to help it, but i need something, actually. You know - a little courage, or help, or cheering, or trust in myself. I intend to conquer all these by myself, with (maybe) a little help from you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pretty much everything that Almodovar has directed. My cult movie is definitely Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain. Oh, I love so many movies! In general, I'm into art movies and musicals, but don't hold that against me! :)

I like jazz (with all it's derivations), some classical, I love Romanian folk music, and many, many others.

Books... Boy, don't get me started!

I was good at maths. And I was told i have some teaching talent. So, if you need someone to tell you about Pitagora theorem or Fourier's series... :D

Aaaa... And I know how to make Christmas tree globes, like tiny hedgehogs!
