ABOUT ME

I seek adventure. If there is something I want to do and no good reason not to do it, I have made a promise to myself to go for it. I try not to limit myself by letting irrational fears stop me from experiencing all that life has to offer me. At dinner tonight my daughter shared a "fact"...(no I have not gone and validated it and if you do then you miss the point) It was "More people have been killed by vending machines this year than by Great White Sharks"...I have never been more proud of her. Let the masses stay "safe" in the lunch room...I'm going skinny dipping in the deepest darkest ocean I can find and if I die? Well, I die, and when we meet in the afterlife, I will say "I was eaten by a Great White Shark while seeing the most breathtakingly beautiful things on earth, how did you die?"

Travel is an amazing life changing and rewarding experience and anyone with the same wanderlust that I have should not be limited by petty things like money. Come stay, chat, see the world. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I seem to have done more hosting/surfing than I thought, I had taken a break from hosting for a couple years due to a relationship but looking at my profile, references and friends now brings back so many great memories and I am looking forward to making more. :) Cheers.

I am very eclectic in my music tastes, I am currently in love with soul music and african dance beats but don't be surprised to find a beautiful classical piece or heavy head banging thrash playing...it all depend on mood.

I have jumped out of an airplane.

I have snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, and also inJamaica, Barbados, Fiji, Hawaii and had a couple scuba experiences in Mexico!

I have attended the Burning Man festival twice solo in Nevada and once with my daughter(47000 people dedicated to a week of radical self expression and radical self reliance in the middle of the desert)

I have dove in the ocean in the middle of winter.

I have danced with the witches in the forest.

I have delivered food to starving people on Christmas

I have swam with Whale Sharks

I am quite happy with my life resume thus far and am excited to add many more adventures to it.
