Hello, I'm Cris, I was born in Mexico and became a American citizen when I turned 6 years old when I began living with my mother in the United States. I have always lived in Michigan , which I love! The seasons are great along with all my friends and family. I believe I'm alive to spread love and connect with as many people around the world through music or sharing stories even if just for a moment. I am big into philosophy and am exploring the importance of the present moment, after all it is all there is. I hope I get to meet those who read this and share wonderful moments that won't soon be forgotten. Peace to all .

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

For a long time , I lived a money fueled life. I need x amount of money to go to college , to get a job , to be happy ect. Money controlled my life fully. I never thought I could travel because "I don't have the money or time". What a great lie I used to surpress my inner adventure and wonder. These past few years I have grown as a person a great deal and am looking to live out my morals. I refuse to let money govern my life and am setting out summer of 2017 to hitchhike across the United States in hopes of seeing beautiful scenery and meeting as many people as I can. Everyone has a story and I simply want to be a happy memory of whomever I meet. Love and peace to all .

My favorite book is "the Tao of now" by josh baran. I have found small moments of complete peace and realization through this book and found myself sobbing over the simplistic beauty of everyday life that I had constantly missed before truly choosing to see.

Currently I am going to school full time while working a 40+ hour a week job while also practicing Jiu jitsu 3 times a week and balance good relationships with those around me. I am slowly growing happier and happier as the days pass and that itself is my biggest accomplish
