Hi, I am Cristhian Rico, I am a friendly, easy going, go getter among other thing, I grew up in Colombia, Bogota D.C, as a a child, I loved watching a lot of movies in different languages, then later I became interested in teaching, thats why I decided to spend 5 years developing my skills as an English teacher, I love my career since I have gained a lot experience from it and I have also met many friendly people from different countries.

My biggest dream is to go out into the world, to meet people and to get to know different locations and cultures. My hope is to meet people with which to share cultural experience. I love all kinds of music, but I prefer listening to rock music mostly from the 80s. Apart from that, I'm keen on watching comedy, history, fantasy, and sci-fi movies. I'm fond of reading Colombian literature, and one of my favorite authors is Gabriel Garcia Marquez, the author of One Hundred Years of Solitude and a nobel prize laureate for literature.

Learning English was a big challenge for me, but I fell in love with the language from the start and dedicated myself to creating a multi-faceted immersive learning experience myself so as to obtain fluency. Today, my English is something that I am very proud of, because of the great effort it took for me to master it, and I consider it one of my most prized skills.

As a teacher of languages, I am not only qualified to teach English and Spanish to others, but I also have a working knowledge of the mechanics of grammar, and I'd be happy to explain any of the questions you might have!
