'All about me' is kind of a big question for one box. I'm pretty sure most of it is in the other boxes :) If I forgot something, drop me an email...

PHILOSOPHY

For now, I'm just waiting to see where tomorrow will take me, and trying to enjoy the ride. Seize the day, it's better to regret something you did than something you didn't do, all that kind of stuff. With a touch of caution, though :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Only used it a couple of times - so far - as a surfer, but I've done quite a bit of hosting now. It's interesting how a guest can give you a fresh look on your own surroundings. As in: 'Wow... you've got a windmill at the end of your street! How cool! How very... Dutch!' And well... CouchSurfers are an interesting breed, in a good way :) Some of the nicest people today in my circle of friends I met through CS :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted, had drinks... It's great fun. If you're hosting: the coolest people come walking right up to your doorstep! If you're surfing: what better way to get to know the city you're in then somebody who actually lives there show you around? What better way to hear all sorts of random stories that are not in any of the guide books?

I like music, films, reading, computers, games. I like travel and languages. I like to talk :) Preferably over a beer :)

音乐、电影和书籍

Music! I love music! I'm into all sorts: rock, punk, metal, electronica, jazz, blues, hiphop, rap, ska, and everything in between. Guitars make me happy, female vocals even more. Love to see live music! Current favorite acts, to name a few: Sage Francis, Drive-By Truckers, Northern State, Dollyrots, Black Keys, MIA, GitoGito Hustler, Rancid, Red Bacteria Vacuum, Uplift Spice... oh, the list is endless.
I like to read as well, but nothing too heavy :) Just fantasy and thrillers and the occasional novel.
As for movies: I like Hollywood action, I like arthouse, and I like animation. I like a lot :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

How about the top of Mount Fuji? The floating torii of Miyajima? Crossing a deep Ecuadorian ravine in a little basket meant for oranges? Mountainbiking down a vulcano, dodging alpaca's? The canals of Venice? The markets of Tunis? The wonders of Rome? Sleeping on the Great Wall of China? Or how about the beaches right here near my hometown?
