About Me

I always try to follow my dreams. Recently they brought me to London where I’m now living and working. Curious to see what will happen next!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, of course, it is for meeting new people, learn from them and share with them.
I have been a member of hospitality club for over 12 years (can’t remember exactly), have hosted and been hosted through it, but unfortunately it’s community isn’t very active any longer.
When I travel to a faraway country and don't meet locals, i feel i have missed out on something (probably a lot). Couchsurfing is great for being able to stay at locals' place and see how they really live. One of the best travel experiences i ever had is when i found a traditional family in the south of India to stay with (through hospitality club) 3 generations living in the same house. The days i spent with them will always live on in my memory much more intensely than any tourist spot i have visited.

Music, Movies, and Books

Very hard to choose any favourites because I consume such a huge amount of all 7 arts due to my passion for them but also for work.
I rarely read a book twice or watch a movie twice. I also don’t know if movies and books I loved a couple of ears ago, would still give me as much as they did back then. I hope My taste is still evolving.
Let’s generalise and say that I never (with a few exceptions) watch American blockbusters. I go for all kinds of art house and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Followed some pretty complicated Pierre Hermé cake recipes and had amazing results :p

Teach, Learn, Share

I would rather learn and share rather than teach hahaha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share long conversations and laughs. If the hosts are curious about my country and culture, I can tell them about Estonia.
