ABOUT ME

Hello ^_^ my name is Cristobal Gallegos, but Cris will do just fine. I have a Master Degree in Computer Science from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.

I grew up in the very small town of 2000 and was raised a farm boy. This taught me good morals and respect for others and my family. I Graduated 1st out of 22 in high school with a GPA of 4.38, along with state records in basketball, soccer, and track.

Being apart of a team taught me to work with others and trust others, along with leadership skills. I like to think im a pretty good person, my parents always taught me to help others and strangers whenever possible, which I still live by today.

I love to stick out and be original. I'm 6ft 1in and weigh 175 pounds.

PHILOSOPHY

My biggest goal in life is that if I was never born, the world would be just a little bit worse. So I live day by day trying to make the world a better place and helping others along the way. I try to understand why things happen the way they do but at the same time not stressing about the "what ifs" of tomorrow. I plan ahead and have my goals for the future, but these are mere guidelines to make the best out of myself and can change at anytime if need be.

So far i havent had any Couchsurfing experience, soon to change though ^_^

Interests

ooooo man where to start.. Any kind of sport interests me, im always willing to play or learn a new sport at anytime. Traveling of course is a given, anywhere and everywhere would be great, can never see to much.

Truly love to learn.. The way I see it the more one knows the better one will be.

Any kind of daredevil like activity, such as skydiving, bungee jumping, cliff diving, free running, river rafting ect.. Almost nothing better than a good adrenaline rush!

Video games! Haha i have always been a gamer, growing up in a small town not too much fun things to do. So I played video games almost any chance i got, in all honesty im a pretty good gamer and always up for a challenge.

Technology, any type of gadget or anything of the sort will spark my intrest right away.

Weapons, always been a fan of shooting guns or bows or even practicing with swords. Growing up in the country there was always a chance of running into a bear or some sort of wildlife that could pose a threat. Thus explaining why I can handle my way around any gun, rifle, or hand weapon. The way i see it, never hurts to know how to defend yourself

Art, i can look at art for hours! The talent of some people simply blows me away!

Cars, i love cars! I can go on about them for days, such as make and models, how to make them better, and classics.

Working out, Im a big fan out making ones body the best it can be. I workout five days a week and take pride in being fit.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love romantic comedies, action adventures, comedies, fantasy pretty much if its a good movie il enjoy it. Some of my favorites are; Never Back Down, The Ugly Truth, Live Free Or Die Hard, Iron Man, Notebook, StarWars, and Casino Royal.

As for music, I love almost all of it! I dont like certain types of some genres like the depressing country, the rap thats hard to understand, or the screaming rock. My favorite artists are: Nickelback, Breaking benjamin, Three Days Grace, Disturbed, Michael Bolton, Celion Dion, Elvis Presley, Don Omar, and Eminem.

Now for books, I dont get to read as much as I would like but I do love a good book. My favorites are Eragon Series, Life Of Pi, The Alchemist, and Twilight.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing is such a strong word.. Im still very young so all in all i havent seen or done anything too amazing. Some of the coolest things iv done would have to be skydiving and bungee jumping and enjoying my 21st B-day at Las Vegas Nevada!

The most amazing thing iv seen in my life was the Blue Man Group show at the Monte Carlo Casino. That show was simply a trip of the mind and so original.. Words can't even explain its just something that has to be experienced.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know almost everything about computers. I can relate much knowledge on that subject such as, why ones computer is running slow, how to get certain software for cheap if not free, how to protect ones computer, how to get any big game, fight or newly released movie for free. Anything of that sort for computers.

I am a black belt in Jujitsu and aikido and always happy to give free lessons to help one defend his/herself.

Apple expert, know pretty much everything about Macs, Iphones, and Ipads.

Im a pretty good longBoarder and SnowBoarder, would love to teach others how to do it.

Freerunning is another great skill of mine, again would love to teach anyone willing to learn

Learning is something I truly love and can't get enough of, anything that will help me in life or make me better as a person is something id be interested to learn. Also just peoples life story in general, I always enjoy hearing a good story of ones life to show how they overcame trials and got to where they are today.
